CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) β College of Charleston point guard Joe Chealey is out for the season after an injury to lower left leg in practice this week. Coach Earl Grant said yesterday that Chealey will need surgery on the injured leg. The 6-foot-3 junior played in 60 games and made 42 starts for the Cougars during the past two seasons.
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (AP) β Kurt Busch has signed a multi-year contract extension with Stewart-Haas Racing and landed a new co-primary sponsor in Monster Energy. Monster Energy will debut on Busch’s No. 41 Chevrolet next weekend at Martinsville Speedway.
