CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Center City Partners made a major announcement about this year’s parade
NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Richard Petty will kick off the holiday season as the Grand Marshal of the 2015 Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Joining Petty in the parade will be:
- Benton Blount from America’s Got Talent
- The Mountain Faith Band from America’s Got Talent.
- Beth Spangler from The Voice
- UNC Charlotte Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band
- Charlotte Ballet Associate Artistic Director Patricia McBride
- Brooke Hummel
- Coach David Marsh and members of the SwimMAC Carolina Team Elite
- Camryn Wilson
- Sister Love Band
- Tennessee State University Aristocrat of Bands
- The Second Marine Aircraft Wing Band
- Miss North Carolina 2015 Kate Peacock
- Miss South Carolina 2015 Daja Dial
- Charlotte Music Award winners Ghosts of Bannockburn
- 7 high school marching bands, 12 balloons, and 21 floats
The parade will be held on November 26th and begins at 9:30am. It will march north on Tryon Street from Stonewall Street to 9th Street.
