CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect of a robbery and shooting on Friday.
The suspect approached a man in a parking lot on Barrington Drive. Officials say the suspect robbed the victim and then shot him several times before fleeing on foot.
The victim drove himself to Carolinas Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 30’s, approximately 5’10” in height, clean shaven and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and grey pants. The suspect was armed with a chrome pistol.
