CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A man was shot and killed Saturday night in North Charlotte, according to police.
The shooting happened around 10:21 p.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of The Plaza.
When officers arrived they found Aaron Shealey, 28, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Β He was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic. Β Β
Police have charged Garrett Johnson, 26, with first degree murder. Β
Police say the Shealey and Johnson knew each other and that this was not a random act of violence.
