CHARLOTTE, NC – Sunday’s big game meant even bigger business for restaurants, bars, and fan stores across Uptown.
Shops like the Panthers Team Store were packed early with fans looking to show off team colors.
Friends and family asked Danny Stevens to make the stop to bring home gear.
“We’ve already purchased some stuff. Gonna take back home to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, gonna represent (the) Panthers,” he says.
Outside the stadium, vendors were also looking to cash in.
Scott Blackburn is there all season looking to sell jerseys, jackets, caps, even foam fingers.
“It’s huge,” he says. “It’s funny, I always say I’m a hero or a zero depending on the team, and with a 5-0 start it’s really good for all of us,” he says.
