Teen Charged in Deadly Crash

CHARLOTTE, NC — A teen driver involved in a deadly crash over the weekend has been arrested. 17-year-old Abigail McGaha is charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless driving.

16-year-old Alexander Mundt died in the wreck. It happened Sunday morning on Colony Road in south Charlotte. Police say McGaha lost control of her car, over corrected, and then hit a tree. Speed was a factor in the crash.
