CHARLOTTE, NC — Monday Night Football is coming to Charlotte on November 2nd, and that means heavy traffic should be expected.
CDOT officials are warning commuters that heavy game-day traffic is expected in Uptown starting Monday afternoon. Some streets around Bank of America Stadium may also be closed to traffic.
Plan ahead because on-street parking will be very limited in the area. Pedestrians will be crossing the streets while walking to and from the event, so drivers and walkers should be alert at all times. Also, officials encourage the use of public transportation like CATS, but CDOT and CMPD will be watching the area to help ease congestion.
