Kayla Antinarelli Proves She Can Take a Dare and Kick It Off the Field
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – When some boys at school dared eighth grader Kayla Antinarelli to go out for the football team, she took their dare and headed straight for the football field.Β Β
The Community House Middle student along with the rest of her Cavalier teammates wrapped up their season with a 30-0 win over South Charlotte on Thursday night.Β Kayla’s mom, Michelle, says that Kayla has enjoyed playing football and has been accepted by the other members of the team, who Michelle says treat Kayla like a little sister.Β
Michelle says that Kayla is talking about trying out for the middle school girls’ basketball team and considering whether or not to continue playing football in high school.
