Store Sells Designer Clothes at Bargain Prices to Help Flood Victims

COLUMBIA, SC — As people in Columbia work to cleanup from the historic flooding, one business is helping with some retail therapy. The owner of the women’s clothing store Coplon’s is offering designer clothes and accessories at bargain prices.
Bruce Greenberg was in Paris when he learned his Columbia store had flooded. Designers sent thousands of pieces from their collections to be sold at big discounts to help the store make money to reopen.
“Here we are on the 2nd floor of the Beringer Building and we have great deals on easy little tops, shirts, jackets, scarves all priced from $19.99 and up,” said Greenberg.
The flash, sample sale starts Friday morning and runs through November 8th at a temporary store on Main Street in Columbia.
