Rain in the Charlotte area has caused a tree fall on West Sugar Creek Road in the Derita Neighborhood. This is near Greene Street in north Charlotte.
The road is still closed as crews work to remove the tree. Motorists are asked to take Mallard Creek Road as an alternate route.
