CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) β The Charlotte Hornets have signed guard Jeremy Lamb to a contract extension and picked up the fourth-year option on forward Cody Zeller’s contract. A person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that Lamb’s deal is worth $21 million over the next three seasons.
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) β Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson says he’s put the sideline incident by a North Carolina State assistant coach behind him. Watson said yesterday that he spoke with Wolfpack running backs coach Des Kitchings after the Tigers 56-41 victory Saturday. Kitchings shoved Watson after the sophomore ran into the assistant on the Wolfpack sidelines.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) β While Everett Golson is listed as the starting quarterback on Florida State’s depth chart, that doesn’t mean he’ll start Saturday at Clemson. Coach Jimbo Fisher was unsure yesterday if Golson would be ready for Saturday’s Atlantic Coast Conference showdown.
