The Panthers are 7 and 0 after beating the Colts 29 to 26 in overtime Monday night at Bank of America Stadium. But it doesn’t get much easier for the Cats; they still have to take on the Green Bay Packers. For now, the Panthers say they’re focusing on playing one game at a time.
“It is nice to play on the big stage,” said head coach Ron Rivera. “It is nice to have our guys in prime time, but the truth of the matter is, it’s one game at a time, and we can’t get ahead of ourselves. And our guys will continue to earn the respect if they continue to play well.”
“We know we have to be better, but at the end of the day we’re one of the lucky few that can say we’re 7 and 0,” said quarterback Cam Newton. “We’re not content by any means. We’re just trying to find a way to get to eight.”
So what do you think? Can the Panthers beat the Packers?
