Reward Increased For Info On Stolen Ambulance

BOONE, N.C. — Police have increased the reward for information about a stolen ambulance in Boone.
On October 22nd, a Watauga Medics ambulance was taken from the campus of Appalachian State University. Officials say the ambulance was seen traveling south on NC 105 near Poplar Grove Road south.  
A short time later, officers located the ambulance abandoned at The Cottages of Boone.  
The reward is being increased from $1,000 to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
