CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews are working to repair part of Sharon Amity Road due to a pavement failure.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation said the repairs will not be completed until Thursday afternoon.
One lane of northbound Sharon Amity near Independence Boulevard has been shut down for the repairs. Drivers are encouraged to use Wendover Road and Eastway Drive as an alternate route.
