CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two local students won $25,000 each to put toward their college education on βThe Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Morgan Lowers, from Rock Hill, and Abby Gervias, from Indian Trail, got a big surprise onΒ βThe Ellen DeGeneres Showβ on Tuesday.
The girlsΒ submitted stories about their school, family life and why they are Ellenβs biggest college fans.
Morgan currently attendsΒ Winthrop University and AbbyΒ attends The Art Institute of Charlotte.
They were two of three girls selected to appear on the show and compete in a game called βKnow Or Go To College.β
