HICKORY, NC– Police arrested a man after he reportedly stole merchandise for a department store in Hickory.
On Thursday police say a man entered the Kohl’s on Catawba Valley Blvd and took a Sony speaker and a Tarheel hat valued around $151.99.
After loss prevention attempted to stop the man he reportedly pulled out a hand gun and pointed it at the employee and fled the scene.
The suspect has been identified as Samuel Bryant Underwood and has an active warrant for robbery with a dangerous weapon.
