ROCK HILL, SC — Republicans are making sure South Carolina voters hear from them during the Democratic debate in Rock Hill.
Kentucky Senator and Presidential Candidate Rand Paul spoke at Winthrop University Friday, focusing on the economy and foreign policy.Β It’s part of U.S. Senator Tim Scott’s Town Hall series.
“We consider ourselves Libertarians, and we like the way Rand Paul thinks… less government, more responsibility. And that’s really what draws me to him,” said Catawba, SC resident Russ Conner.
South Carolina’s Republican Party also held a news conference Friday in Rock Hill, taking several shots at Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton.
