OAKLAND (AP) β€” There’s just one unbeaten team left in the NBA and it’s the reigning champion Golden State Warriors. They improved to 8-0 last night with a 109-95 victory over Detroit. COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) β€” Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has announced that J.T. Barrett is once again his starting quarterback. Meyer benched Barrett last week after his arrest for driving while impaired. Barrett has a date in court today on the charge.

UNDATED (AP) β€” Key players for both the Los Angeles Angels and Cleveland Indians could miss the start of the 2016 season. Albert Pujols (POO’-hohlz) of the Angels has undergone a procedure to repair the planter plate in his right foot, while Michael Brantley of the Indians has had surgery to repair a torn right labrum. Each team hopes to have its star player back by the start of the campaign.

MOSCOW (AP) β€” The Russian government is fighting back after charges were made that the country operated a vast state-sponsored doping program. A spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin (POO’-tihn) says the allegations that were in a report by the World Anti-Doping Agency commission are not supported by evidence.
