CHARLOTTE, NC — Two bank robbery suspects are in custody after a police chase ends in Northwest Charlotte.
Police say the two men assaulted an employee as they robbed the Wells Fargo at 4501 Park Road at gun point around 10:00am. The pair then fled the scene and led police on a pursuit that ended on LaSalle Street in Northwest Charlotte.
Three people were taken by Medic to CMC from the scene of the robbery with minor injuries, but no word on what the cause of those injuries were.
The suspects are also accused of sideswiping a civilian’s vehicle during the pursuit. The two suspects have been taken into custody, but no information on their identities has been released.
