Davidson Remembers Veterans

DAVIDSON, NC — In Davidson, hundreds of people gathered at Town Hall for an annual veterans ceremony Wednesday.

The program included a wreath laying and recognition of World War II veterans. Those honored say they enjoy the opportunity to share stories and spend time with fellow vets.

“To honor those who have served. I’m grateful to be able to meet such persons as the World War II veterans and appreciate their service,” said veteran Bryan Hall.

Davidson native and Vietnam POW Porter Halyburton gave the keynote speech.
