(AP) β Stephen (STEH’-fihn) Curry scored 28 points and Andre Iguodala (ihg-woh-DAH’-lah) added 20 as the 9-0 Golden State Warriors matched a franchise record for most wins to start a season with a 100-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies last night. Harrison Barnes added 19 points for Golden State, which made 11 of 27 from three-point range.
HOUSTON (AP) β Bojan Bogdanovic (BOY’-ahn bog-DAHN’-oh-vich) came off the bench to score a season-high 22 points with nine rebounds and led the Brooklyn Nets to their first victory of the season, 106-98 over the Houston Rockets. The Nets are 1-7.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) β Kyle Lowry scored 23 points and Luis Scola had 21 to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 119-103 victory over the winless Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers have lost their first eight games of this season, and have lost 18 straight dating to March 27.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) β Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant will miss at least a week with a strained left hamstring. The All-Star was injured during the victory at Washington on Tuesday night. He will be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days.
DENVER (AP) β Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler will undergo surgery on his right hip and is expected to miss the season because of a labral tear during the preseason. The 28-year-old signed a four-year, $46 million contract extension this summer.
