Thunder Road Marathon: Road Closures

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This weekend,Β The Novant Health Thunder Road Marathon will be held uptown.

The event, which includes a marathon, half-marathon, and 5k run, will take place on Friday and Saturday.Β Here are the roads that will be closed:

Road Closures

Friday, November 13:

  • Mint Street between Martin Luther King Jr Blvd & 4th Street : 4:00pm Friday – 4:00pm Saturday
  • 3rd St between Mint St & Poplar St : 4:00pm Friday – 4:00pm Saturday
Saturday, November 14:
  • 4th St between Graham St & Poplar St : 5:00am – 10:00am
  • Poplar St between 4th St & Mint St : 5:00am – 4:00pm
  • Mint St including Martin Luther King Jr Blvd intersection : 5:00am – 4:00pm
  • Martin Luther King Jr Blvd between Graham St & Church St. : 5:00am – 4:00pm
