OTTAWA (AP) β The New York Rangers are enjoying a great start to the season with a record of 12-2. Fresh off beating St. Louis Thursday night, the Rangers are in Ottawa playing the Senators this afternoon. The Sens are 8-5.
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) β The men’s college basketball season got going last night with games across the country. In Annapolis, Maryland, the top-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels opened with an easy 91-67 win over Temple. Kennedy Meeks led the way for the Heels with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
