SHELBY, NC– Deputies say they responded to a shooting call the occurred early Friday morning that left one man dead.
Upon arrival, authorities located a man lying on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The individual was later identified as Christopher Oneal Odoms.
Odoms was pronounced dead after being transported to Carolina Health Care in Shelby.
After interviewing witnesses deputies obtained a murder warrant for Jonathan Terrell Wray who was later apprehended by authorities.
