Patience is Key, Say Black Friday Shoppers

CHARLOTTE, NC — Thousands of shoppers got a chance to take advantage of the biggest shopping day of the year. This was the scene at the Charlotte Premium Outlets, where parking was at a premium.

We spoke to some shoppers who said the key to getting through the day was packing a little patience.

“Crazy. Parking, took an hour to park, but finding some good deals like this, good Christmas presents, can’t complain to much,” said west Charlotte resident Pamela Hardison.

And it was those shoppers that the National Retail Federation says has companies nationwide excited. Their early predictions report that consumer shopping behaviors around Thanksgiving and Black Friday appear to be positive.
