SALISBURY, NC — Food Lion has issued a recall for five products that may include celery that could potentially contain E. coli.
The products include:
- 40 oz Food Lion Large Vegetable Tray w/ Dip (UPC # 03582609869; Item # 249490)
- 20 oz Food Lion Small Vegetable Tray w/ Dip (UPC # 03582609870; Item # 264550)
- 14 oz Food Lion Carrot/Celery Sticks (fresh cut carrots & celery in water) (UPC # 035826090867; Item # 598690)
- 16 oz Stuffing Mix (pre-cut fresh celery & onions for stuffing mix) (UPC # 84021914560; Item # 628020)
- 32 oz Food Lion Stew Mix (pre-cut fresh vegetables, including celery, for stew mix) (UPC # 03582610174; Item # 000440)
The products have a sell by date of December 3-6.
Food Lion says the products were shipped to about 500 stores across eight states, including multiple stores across the Carolinas.
