CHARLOTTE, NC —Β Governor Pat McCrory is running for a second term.Β The Republican announced his re-election campaign on social media late Tuesday.
McCrory tweeted:Β “I’m running for governor because our comeback story isn’t over. There’sΒ still more to do to rebuild NC.”
State Attorney General Roy Cooper, a Democrat, announced his run for governor in October.
