CHARLOTTE, NC– Late Tuesday night MEDIC took one person to the hospital after a shooting in southwest Charlotte.
It happened at the Yorkridge apartments on Yorkridge Drive. Police taped off a car in the area.
It’s not known what led to the shooting or if a suspect is in custody.

UNC Charlotte Emergency Management officials say the incident happened Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. in Lot 25 near the light rail station.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the suspect in this case has been identified as 49-year-old Sean Dell. He's been charged with first-degree murder.
