11 People Arrested On Meth Charges In Catawba County

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Police arrested 11 people after conducting an investigation to crack down on suspects who make and sell meth in Catawba County.  The 11 suspects are facing a total of 59 separate charges including manufacturing meth, trafficking meth and conspiracy.  Here is a break down of the charges:

Ashley Nicole Reynolds from Claremont has been arrested on thirteen separate charges to include Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Manufacturing and Possession and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Reynolds has received a $50,000 secured bond.

Julia Marie Flowers from Catawba has been arrested on seven separate charges to include Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Manufacturing and Possession and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Flowers has received a $121,000 secured bond and is currently in the Catawba County Jail. 

Jacob Rayce Carr from Newton has been arrested on six separate charges to include Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Manufacturing and Possession and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Carr has received a $325,000 secured bond and is currently in the Catawba County Jail.

Wesley Michael Sain from Hickory has been arrested on four separate charges to include Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Trafficking Methamphetamine by Manufacturing and Possession and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Carr has received a $75,000 secured bond and is currently in the Catawba County Jail. 

Cody Lee Weiss from Newton has been arrested on 13 separate charges to include Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Manufacturing and Possession, and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. 

Kevin Matthew Cook from Catawba has been arrested on three separate charges to include Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Trafficking in Methamphetamine by Possession and Manufacturing. Cook is currently in the Catawba County Jail and is waiting to be presented to a Newton magistrate for a bond.

William Jonathan McNeil from Newton has been arrested on one charge of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine. McNeil is currently in the Catawba County Jail and is waiting to be presented to a Newton Magistrate for a bond. 

Brandon Kyle Hensley from Maiden has been arrested on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Hensley is currently in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Corrections and is waiting to be transported to a Newton magistrate for a pending court date. 

Samantha Lynn Metz from Maiden has been arrested on one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Metz is currently in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Corrections and is waiting to be transported to a Newton magistrate for a pending court date. 

Joseph Edward Morin and his mother, Georgia Lynn Starks from Newton have both received five counts each of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Immediate Precursors to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Both Morin and Starks have left Catawba County possibly and have not been apprehended. Both suspects have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as wanted.
