Suspicious Vehicle Call Leads To Felony Drug Arrest In Lincolnton

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police say a suspicious vehicle call ended with a man facing felony drug charges.

Michael Nixon and another man were sitting inside a vehicle on Turner Street when they are approached by officers.  During the course of the investigation, police say they searched the vehicle and found 132 grams of marijuana.

Police also say they found digital scales, a box of plastic baggies, a cell phone and over $2,000 in cash.  The items were seized as evidence.  

Nixon has been charged with PWISD marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining vehicle for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
