CORNELIUS, N.C. — Police have identified the victim found dead in a bathtub at a Microtel Inn.
On Tuesday morning, Cornelius Police responded to the Microtel Inn on Torrence Chapel Road in reference to a death investigation.
The victim has been identified as Danielle Newell of Charlotte.
Police say her husband, Timothy Leonard, is a suspect. After further investigation, they obtained a warrant for Leonard for First Degree Murder.
