CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Students involved in the Prodigal Son Foundation afterschool program are working to provide assistance with relief efforts in Syrian refugee camps.
In partnership with I Dream in Colors, students from Nathaniel Alexander designed the campaign to provide financial support with food, shelter, medicine, and educational access for refugees from Syria.
Students launched their fundraising campaign within the school for one day in an effort to raise awareness to the Syrian refugee crisis, wearing green shirts in support of Syria.
