YORK COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close two lanes of I-77 Southbound this weekend.
The two right lanes on I-77 Southbound in York County will be closed for deck repairs on the bridge crossing the Catawba River at mile marker 82.5.
This repair is required due to a large hole that formed in the bridge deck on Tuesday.
The right lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 12 p.m. Sunday. The two left lanes will remain open.
SCDOT advises motorists to use caution when traveling in work zones. Motorists should consider using alternate routes while repairs are underway.
