MONROE, NC– Authorities say they arrested several people in a drug raid early Wednesday morning.
A K-9 unit was reportedly used to search the residence on Oak Springs Road and ended up locating crystal meth, opiates, marijuana and drug paraphernalia that was littered throughout the home.
Two female suspects, Allison Bridges and Aimee Ciufo were reportedly arrested at the residence on several felony drug charges and a third suspect, Shane Hamrick, was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants along with probation violation.
Casey Colin, a male resident, was not arrested but issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police say the homeowner and the target of the investigation, James Bridges, was not present at the time of the search but was later located at a residence in Mathews, NC.
Bridges was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession with intent to make/sell/deliver meth, possession of schedule one, trafficking opiates, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony maintaining and dwelling.
