2nd Suspect Arrested in Rest Stop Shooting
CHARLOTTE, NC — A second suspect in a shooting at a local rest stop is in police custody. That shooting left a man paralyzed.
The two men are accused of shooting Greg McKee in the back at a rest stop on I-85 in Cabarrus County on November 28th. McKee and his family were driving home to Gastonia after Thanksgiving when they stopped.
Police arrested 29-year-old Terrell Thomas last night in Queens, New York. Investigators arrested the other suspect, Darren Manuel on December 2nd.
After he was arrested, investigators say Manuel tried to contact Thomas to have McKee killed.
