CHARLOTTE, N.C. — City Manager Ron Carlee has declared the upcoming Panthers game against the Atlanta Falcons an extraordinary event to enhance public safety.
The game is being held Sunday, December 13th at Bank of America Stadium at 1pm.
Officials say an extraordinary event is defined as a large scale event or an event of national or international significance which might attract a significant number of people to a certain geographic area of the city.
Carlee and CMPD determined the game meets the criteria.
