Fans fired up after Panthers 38 to 0 win.

CHARLOTTE, NC -Many say the undefeated Panthers shut out of Atlanta sends a message around the league.

“The best team! And there’s no doubt about it now! This proves it,” one fan said.

“To have the actual second team come in for the whole fourth quarter, I mean that’s really unprecedented,” said another.

From celebrations in the streets, to fans riding around Uptown on horseback, it’s a different atmosphere.

“Well, we’re loving the excitement around the team. And that’s exactly why we’re out here. To bring more excitement to our city and represent what we do,” said Harrisburg, NC resident Larry Baker.

Baker and his crew on horseback caught many by surprise.

The only thing tempering fan excitement was once again was high security. Sunday’s game is the second home game in a row to be declared an extraordinary event.

More officers patrolled and there were more restrictions for those going in the stadium.
