Police have charged James Victor Broadhurst, 25, as the second suspect in the armed robbery of the GAP on Providence Road.
On Friday, Broadhurst was located and arrested by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team and transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by detectives.
Broadhurst was charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and 2nd Degree Kidnapping.
On December 9th, CMPD charged Ariel Terry, 21, for her involvement in armed robbery.
Terry was charged with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and 2nd Degree Kidnapping.
This investigation is still ongoing.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for the suspects who robbed a Gap at gunpoint in the Arboretum shopping center Saturday evening.
Police say the robbery happened at the Gap store on Providence Road in the Arboretum around 8:00pm Saturday evening. The suspects entered the store and robbed eight people at gunpoint.
The robbers took items including wallets, purses, credit and debit cards, smartphones, and cash from the victims. The suspects then fled the scene.
Police say the suspects face armed robbery, kidnapping, and assault charges for the incident.
