Marvin Ridge Creates Video For Ellen DeGeneres

WAXHAW, N.C. — Marvin Ridge High School has come up with a creative way to ask Ellen DeGeneres to their graduation.

The seniors at Marvin Ridge created and posted a video to Facebook last Friday, asking Ellen to be their graduation commencement speaker.

The video, which was viewed over 22,000 times in just four days, includes students, teachers, cheerleaders, and a whole lot of dancing. In the end, the school holds a large banner while chanting Ellen’s name.

See the video below:

The caption reads, “We, the 2016 class of Marvin Ridge High School in Waxhaw, North Carolina, would like to formally invite Ellen DeGeneres to speak at our graduation on June 11th!!”

Marvin Ridge High School has posted a link onto their website, encouraging people to “like, tweet and share it.”
