Police Searching For Suspect Of 2 Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for two armed robberies.

The first incident occurred on November 20th at 9:00 p.m. at the Dollar General on Heathway Drive. The suspect entered the building and demanded money at gunpoint. He then fled the scene with the money.

On December 12th around 8:15 p.m., the same suspect entered the Metro PCS on The Plaza, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. Once he obtained the money he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male about 30 years old, 6’1”, 230 lbs., with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, black shirt with a black vest, and blue jeans.
