Police: Suspect Fired Shots During Albemarle Robbery

ALBEMARLE, N.C. — Police need your help identifying an armed robbery suspect in Albemarle.

Investigators say the suspect entered the Olympia Quick Shop on South Second Street Tuesday night, grabbed the clerk and fired several shots inside the building.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery.  The suspect got away with $700 in cash.

Investigators say the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9″ to 6′ tall, wearing a partial mask, black sweatshirt with a hood, a red long sleeve t-shirt, dark jeans and a ‘Raiders’ baseball cap.
