Police Looking For 2 Suspects Following Overnight Robbery

PINEVILLE, NC — Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed a 7-Eleven in Pineville overnight.new-police-graphic56.jpg

Police say two armed men went into the 7-Eleven on the corner of Johnston Road and McMullen Creek Parkway in Pineville around 3:00am Friday and demanded money. The clerk did not resist, but was shot in the arm by one of the suspects as they fled the store. The clerk was taken to CMC and is recovering from his injuries.

Officials say the first suspect was a black male wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt covering most of his face, red pants, and white gloves.
The second suspect was a male wearing a black long sleeve shirt, white pants, black gloves, and a multicolored (mostly gray) toboggan.

Investigators with Pineville PD say they are currently reviewing surveillance and comparing notes with CMPD to see if the robbery is connected to other 7-Eleven robberies that have occurred in the Charlotte area.
