UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A man is in custody after leading police on a chase through two North Carolina counties.
Officials were conducting a routine traffic stop when the incident took place.
The man drove through Cabarrus County on Highway 601 and crossed into Union County. The chase stopped on Midland Road at Old Ferry and Brief road.
Officials say there may have been drugs and money involved in the chase. The man’s name has not been released at this time.
