CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies say a woman has been charged after she tried to sneak drugs into a prison for her boyfriend.
Investigators say Brianna Frye dropped eight pain pills and 12 over the counter sleep aid pills into a trash can in the women’s bathroom at the Chester County Detention Center.
Deputies say Frye’s boyfriend, Chaz Flecha, was seen on surveillance cameras trying to enter the women’s bathroom to retrieve the pills.
The evidence was recovered by an employee.
Frye has been charged with furnishing contraband to a prisoner, criminal conspiracy and possession. Flecha is facing conspiracy charges.
