Your Favorite Panthers Win this Season?

For the first time, the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will go through Charlotte. The Cats clinched the number one seed with a 38-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday.

Quarterback Cam Newton finished strong, becoming the first player in NFL history with 30 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns in a single season. Here’s what Cam had to say about the team’s 15-1 season:

“It was extremely big for us to get back on track,” he said. “To get the positive energy flowing again, um, coming off an unexpected loss, it feels like we know what we’re capable of, and we can’t let that happen no more.” He continued: “It’s irrelevant about our record now, going into the playoffs, because we’ve gotta be focused in and honed in, and gotta be fast starters.”

With Sunday’s win, the Cats have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. We’re still not sure who we’ll play, but we do know when. The Cats will head back to Bank of America Stadium Sunday, January 19. Kickoff is at 1:05pm.

But before we look ahead, let’s take a look back. What was your favorite win of the season? The Edgitators weigh in…
