A cold front will approach from the northwest late Tuesday bringing snow showers to the mountains. Behind the cold front, frigid temperatures will return to the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. High temperatures will only reach the low 40s Wednesday afternoon, feeling much colder with a breeze. Sunny and cold conditions will linger through Thursday before our next chance for rain arrives late in the week.
