CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have arrested a second suspect, 35-year-old Meredith Cunningham, for his involvement in a shootout Saturday morning.
Around 11:52am on January 9th police responded to a shooting at 638 West Sugar Creek Road. Witnesses said two men that knew each other had gotten into a verbal argument in the store. They then went into the parking lot, pulled guns from their vehicles, and started shooting at one another.
The suspects had left the scene before officers could arrive. Some vehicles were damaged in the shootout, but officials say no one was injured.
The other suspect, 34-year-old Robert Jackson, was arrested earlier in the week.
