CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are searching for a man who cut off his electronic monitor.
Maurice Foster was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. On Wednesday, Foster removed the monitor and was last known to be in the area of 800 Reliance Street.
Foster is wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, Armed Robbery with Dangerous Weapon, Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Damage to Property and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Maurice Foster should immediately contact the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team at 704-336-VCAT or call 911.
