It’s been a busy week for Sarah Palin. She endorsed Donald Trump Tuesday. And on Monday, her 26-year-old son was arrested on domestic violence charges in Alaska.
According to the arrest report, Track Palin punched and kicked his girlfriend, then held an assault rifle near his head as though he would shoot himself. Palin is using the incident as a talking point on the campaign trail for Trump.
While she was talking to a group of Trump supporters in Oklahoma Wednesday, she linked her son’s arrest to PTSD, and criticized President Obama’s handling of veterans.
“It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question, if they’re respected anymore,” said Palin. “It starts from the top. The question, though, that comes from our own President, where they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to to do to secure America?”
That comment is sparking lots of feedback. Some experts say it’s just another example of how the current political scene is basically as ridiculous as reality television.
So, what do you think? Will Sarah Palin hurt or help Donald Trump?
