Crews Prepare The Bank for Sunday’s Game

CHARLOTTE, NC — Friday’s Panther Pride Pep Rally is cancelled due to the weather. But the team is still getting ready for Sunday’s big game.

Not only is the team getting ready, but the grounds crew is also prepping for the biggest game of the year. The Panthers are all hands on deck for the inclement weather approaching the area Friday and Saturday.

The team is putting ice melt in and outside the stadium to get ahead of the winter weather. The goal is to not only make the field playable for the Panthers, but to give the fans a safe place to enjoy the game.

“That kind of is taking all of our time right now, and we’re concentrating on that to make sure that we get our fans here to the stadium and that it’s a safe environment inside the stadium,” said Executive Director of Stadium Operations Scott Paul.
